Green Events and Programs is changing its name to Robert L. Bowles Nature Centre
We are excited to officially announce, that Green Events and Programs is changing its name to Robert L. Bowles Nature Centre. With our new name comes the privilege to have Master Naturalist, Bob Bowles guiding our mission into the future. Many of our readers know Bob Bowles. Bob is a resident of Orillia, Ontario and an award-winning writer, artist, photographer, and naturalist. Bob is also the developer and coordinator of the Ontario Master Naturalist Certificate program offered at Lakehead University.
Our focus will be learning about nature, becoming stewards of the land, being responsible users, developing our relationship with the land and learning about sustainability. We will be offering programs and workshops on all aspects of the nature world like geography, all five invertebrate groups (mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds), invertebrates like insects and spiders, lichens, mosses, liverworts, plants, shrubs and trees and much more like climate change, species at risk and invasive species.
You will get a chance to be in the field, here on-site, communing with nature with renowned Master Naturalist, Bob Bowles. A great opportunity to learn from the best!
Our healing classes for Reiki, Sound Therapy, Therapeutic Touch, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and other various workshops will continue. Our 'Bush Breathing-Healing in Nature' outings will also continue from January through May and September through to November.
